Job summary

QT Gold Coast is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive room, conferencing and events revenue through proactive sales, new business development and solid client relationships.

Responsibilities include generating new business, managing a pipeline, responding to enquiries, proposals, and contracts, hosting client site inspections, and collaborating with the Director of Sales and the C&E team to grow key accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel, conferencing or events sales.
• Confident and proactive approach to new business.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Team player mindset with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive sales calls, site inspections and networking.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of C&E leads and opportunities.
• Respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and issue contracts.
• Host clients and conduct site inspections to secure business.
• Grow and retain key accounts through great service and regular contact.
• Represent QT Gold Coast at industry and networking events.
• Keep CRM records and reporting accurate and up to date.
• Liaise closely with the Director of Sales, C&E Manager and wider hotel team.
