Job summary

QT Gold Coast is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive rooms and conferencing and events revenue through proactive sales, new business development, and strong client relationships.

You will generate new business via proactive sales calls, site inspections and networking, build a solid pipeline of leads, respond to enquiries, and issue contracts while collaborating with the sales director and hotel team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel, conferencing or events sales.
• A confident, proactive approach to new business.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Great organisation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive sales calls and site inspections.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of C&E leads.
• Respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and issue contracts.
• Host clients and conduct site inspections to secure business.
• Grow and retain key accounts through excellent service and contact.
• Represent QT Gold Coast at industry events and networking functions.
• Keep CRM records and reporting accurate and up to date.
• Liaise with sales leadership and hotel team to align on strategy.
