Job summary

EVT is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive for QT Gold Coast to drive conferences and events revenue through proactive sales, new business development and strong client relationships. You will generate new business via calls, site visits, proposals and contracts, manage a robust C&E pipeline, and collaborate with the Director of Sales and hotel team.

Experience in hotel or events sales and excellent negotiation and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel, conferencing or events sales.
• Confident, proactive approach to new business.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Great organisation and time management.
• A team player mindset with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through proactive sales calls, site inspections and networking.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of C&E leads and opportunities.
• Respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and issue contracts.
• Host clients and conduct site inspections to secure business.
• Grow and retain key accounts through great service and regular contact.
• Represent QT Gold Coast at industry and networking events.
• Keep CRM records and reporting accurate and up to date.
• Liaise closely with the Director of Sales, C&E Manager and wider hotel team.
