Job summary

commUnity+ is seeking a part-time Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team. You will support vulnerable clients, conduct assessments, engage services, and coordinate supports across legal and non-legal needs, delivering an integrated, person-centred approach.

This fixed-term role (12 months) averages 30.4 hours per week, with salary packaging benefits and opportunities to influence service delivery across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
• Membership of/eligibility for AASW.
• Experience in case management for people experiencing disadvantage.
• Experience in developing internal referral pathways.
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse client groups.
• Ability to manage large, diverse caseloads under pressure.
• Ability to work independently at offsite outreach locations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences.
• Professionalism, integrity, and accountability aligned with values.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated, person-centred social work across programs.
• Conduct assessments, engage clients, referrals and advocacy.
• Coordinate supports addressing legal and non-legal needs.
• Contribute to service design, collaboration and improvement.
