commUnity+ is seeking a Senior Social Worker to coordinate operations across multiple Children’s Contact Service sites in Melbourne, supervising CCS Workers and guiding practice to align with program guidelines.

You will engage directly with clients during contact sessions, handle case documentation, and liaise with external partners, travel between Deer Park, Glenroy and Brunswick as needed. A driver's license and WWC/Police checks are required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work.
• Minimum of 3 years7 post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrated experience supervising staff using reflective supervision practices.
• Understanding of children7s development and their needs around contact issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing.
• Understanding of the impact of family violence on families, especially children.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Demonstrated computer skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate operations within the designated CCS site and manage day-to-day functioning.
• Provide supervision and practice guidance to CCS Workers.
• Undertake direct client work and respond to issues during contact sessions.
• Complete case documentation and liaise with external stakeholders.
• Travel between Deer Park, Glenroy, and Brunswick locations as required.
