Wearn is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Finance team on a permanent part-time basis. You will own the end-to-end payroll process across three company payrolls, all processed weekly, while upholding accuracy, confidentiality and service to employees.

You will interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements, perform STP, superannuation and payroll tax tasks, and support payroll audits and improvements in a blue-collar environment within Greater Sydney.

Competenze

• Experienced in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and Awards.
• Ability to interpret Enterprise Agreements and payroll rules.

Mansioni

• Process three company payrolls accurately and on time each week.
• Verify and reconcile timesheets, attendance records, overtime and deductions.
• Maintain employee payroll records, leave balances and payroll data.
• Process new starters, changes, adjustments and terminations.
• Interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements and ensure compliance.
• Complete Single Touch Payroll, superannuation and payroll tax requirements.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and assist with audits and reporting.
• Respond to payroll enquiries from employees and managers.
• Support workers compensation payroll administration and continuous process improvement.
