Job summary

Professional Search Group is partnering with a leading ASX-listed mining company in West Perth to recruit a Part-Time Payroll Officer. The role will handle a fortnightly payroll for about 350 staff and is 0.6 FTE (roughly 3 days per week), with flexible home working.

Reporting to the Finance/Payroll function, you will ensure accurate processing and compliance with Australian payroll legislation, while collaborating with HR and Finance.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation.
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for ~350 employees.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with legislation and policies.
• Maintain employee payroll records and address queries.
• Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.
