Job summary

Hope Media Ltd. is seeking a meticulous Payroll Officer to join our team on a part-time basis (2–3 days per week) in Seven Hills, NSW.

You will ensure accurate and timely fortnightly payroll for about 70 staff across four entities, while upholding confidentiality and compliant processes. In this role you will manage timesheets, leave, allowances, and statutory requirements, support month-end/year-end tasks, and respond promptly to payroll queries.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end fortnightly payroll.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll awards and conditions.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Processing end-to-end fortnightly payroll for approximately 70 employees across 4 entities.
• Maintaining accurate employee payroll records.
• Processing timesheets, leave, allowances and other payroll adjustments.
• Managing superannuation and other statutory payroll requirements.
• Supporting payroll reporting, month-end and year-end activities.
• Responding to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally.
• Interpreting relevant awards, enterprise agreements and employment conditions.
• Working closely with People & Culture and Finance to resolve payroll matters.
• Maintaining accurate records and protecting sensitive employee information.
• Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls and employee experience.
