Job summary

Australian Drilling Systems – Newcastle NSW is seeking a part-time Payroll Administrator in Newcastle, three days per week (Monday to Wednesday). You will own the weekly payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely service to our employees.

Key tasks include processing weekly payroll data, STP lodgements, deductions and SG contributions, leave management and PAYG uploads, while addressing payroll enquiries and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience with weekly payroll processing.
• Familiarity with STP lodgements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage deadlines and respond to payroll inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Collate and process weekly payroll data
• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
• Complete weekly STP lodgements
• Process deductions and lodgements
• Complete weekly Superannuation contributions
• Process employee leave and maintain leave register
• Prepare end-of-week payroll reporting and PAYG uploads
• Respond to employee payroll enquiries professionally
• Provide general payroll administration and assist with ad hoc tasks
