Job summary

Professional Search Group is partnering with a leading ASX-listed mining company in West Perth to recruit a Part-Time Payroll Officer. The role will handle a fortnightly payroll for about 350 staff and is 0.6 FTE (roughly 3 days per week), with flexible home working.

Reporting to the Finance/Payroll function, you will ensure accurate processing and compliance with Australian payroll legislation, while collaborating with HR and Finance.

Qualifications

Part-Time Payroll Officer

ASX-Listed Mining Company | Permanent | West Perth | $100,000 - $110,000 + Super Pro Rata.

We are currently partnering with a leading ASX-listed mining company to appoint a Part Time Payroll Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional looking for a flexible part time role within a well established and growing mining organisation.

Reporting into the broader Finance/Payroll function, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of a fortnightly payroll of approximately 350 employees.

The role is initially anticipated to be approximately 3 days per week / 0.6 FTE (flexible)

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for approximately 350 employees.

• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in accordance with relevant legislation and company policies.

• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and resolve payroll-related queries.

• Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations and payroll compliance requirements.

• Work closely with HR, Finance and other internal stakeholders.

• Support continuous improvement across payroll processes and systems.

About You

We are looking for an experienced payroll professional who is confident working independently and managing a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• SAP payroll experience highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of payroll processes and relevant Australian legislation.

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

• The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.
