Job summary

Eldercare is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Head Office team in South Australia. You will deliver end-to-end payroll services fortnightly using Aurion Payroll and Humanforce Rostering, ensuring accurate wages, leave, terminations and compliance.

Key requirements include at least 5 years' payroll experience, proficiency with Aurion and MS Office, and a discreet, collaborative approach. This part-time 0.7 FTE role offers flexible working arrangements and a pro rata remuneration package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll functions.
• Proven expertise in payroll systems (Aurion preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to working effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process fortnightly payroll using Aurion Payroll and Humanforce Rostering.
• Accurately calculate and pay wages, leave, terminations, Workers Compensation, and more.
• Maintain confidential employee data and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Handle payroll queries with professionalism and empathy.
• Assist with end-of-year processes, audits, and reporting.
• Support staff and managers with payroll policies and training.
