Job summary

Eldercare is seeking a Payroll Officer in Adelaide to deliver accurate payroll services across our not-for-profit aged care organisation. This 0.7FTE role offers flexibility and a supportive team environment.

You will process fortnightly payroll using Aurion Payroll and Humanforce Rostering, maintain confidential data, and handle payroll queries with empathy and professionalism. Join Eldercare to contribute to compassionate care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll functions.
• Proven expertise in payroll systems (Aurion preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to working effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process fortnightly payroll using Aurion Payroll and Humanforce Rostering
• Accurately calculate and pay wages, leave, terminations, Workers Compensation, and more
• Maintain confidential employee data and ensure compliance with internal procedures
• Handle payroll queries with professionalism and empathy
• Assist with end-of-year processes, audits, and reporting
• Support staff and managers with payroll policies and training
