Job summary

Randstad in Australia seeks an experienced Payroll Officer for high-volume end-to-end payroll tasks with flexibility for WFH. The role covers salary processing, reconciling to the GL, and managing employee lifecycle events in a hybrid Frankston VIC setting.

Key requirements include payroll processing expertise and familiarity with Aurion or HumanForce; government payroll exposure is desirable but not essential. Immediate temp position with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• High volume end to end payroll processing experience.
• Experience with Aurion or HumanForce payroll systems (Desirable).
• Previous government experience (Desirable, not essential).

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Payroll Processing: Execute timely and accurate salary payments, EFT transmissions, and tax distributions with precise data entry.
• Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll to the General Ledger including PAYG and Superannuation.
• Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage commencements, terminations, and annual salary reviews.
• Entitlement Administration: Calculate and reconcile annual, sick, and long service leave.
• Advisory & Customer Service: Provide payroll guidance to managers and staff.
• Data Integrity & Reporting: Maintain HRIS and generate standard reports with audit trails.
• Compliance & Governance: Adhere to OH&S, Privacy, Conduct, and Child Safe policies.
