Job summary

Programmed GO is seeking an experienced Part-Time Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processing and HRIS administration in Melbourne. The role includes support across accounts payable and general finance duties, with Kronos experience highly desirable.

You will handle fortnightly payroll across multiple Australian states, maintain records, support onboarding/offboarding, and ensure compliance with awards, Fair Work and tax requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Experience with Kronos and HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll, awards, Fair Work and WorkCover.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and general finance support.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Attention to detail, communication and organisation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll across multiple states.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, leave, terminations and payroll adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, awards, Fair Work and tax requirements.
• Prepare payroll tax and WorkCover returns.
• Respond to payroll queries and prepare payroll reports.
• Process supplier invoices, payment runs and reconciliations.
• Provide general finance and accounts support as required.
