Cleanaway is Australia’s leader in sustainable waste management, seeking payroll domain specialists to interpret complex agreements and translate them into precise system solutions. You’ll work across one of the country’s largest operations, ensuring accurate weekly payroll and timely issue resolution.

The role focuses on Kronos and workforce management, with opportunities to train site teams and collaborate with payroll, HR, and operations to improve outcomes for a multi-site workforce.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience interpreting enterprise agreements, awards or payroll rules.
• Experience with payroll systems, workforce management or time and attendance.
• Ability to convert business requirements into structured system documentation.
• Experience testing payroll or workforce management outcomes with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with operational, payroll and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Interpret enterprise agreements and identify pay-impacting provisions.
• Translate requirements into structured system design documentation and test scenarios.
• Test pay rules and payroll outcomes to validate system changes.
• Provide specialist support for Kronos with access, troubleshooting and improvements.
• Deliver training and guidance to site-based users and stakeholders.
