Job summary

Adecco Australia Group in North Ryde is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for a 3-month casual contract to join our payroll team and deliver accurate payroll services for a large workforce.

You will process weekly/fortnightly payrolls, interpret awards and enterprise agreements, and respond to payroll queries with strong attention to detail and timely communication. Kronos and SAP Payroll experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Kronos experience is highly desirable.
• Exposure to SAP Payroll will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Processing weekly and/or fortnightly payrolls.
• Ensuring payroll accuracy and data integrity.
• Interpreting awards, enterprise agreements, and payroll legislation.
• Managing payroll queries from employees and stakeholders.
• Preparing payroll reports and reconciliations.
• Maintaining employee records and payroll documentation.
• Supporting payroll projects and process improvements.
• Assisting with compliance requirements, including payroll reporting obligations.
