Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services Boronia VIC is seeking a part-time Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processing and HRIS administration, with additional support for accounts payable and general finance duties.

You will handle fortnightly payroll across Australian states, maintain employee records, and support onboarding/offboarding processes. Kronos experience is highly desirable and you will work with a supportive team in a busy finance environment.

Qualifications

• Experience processing end-to-end fortnightly payroll across multiple states.
• Experience using Kronos and HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll, payroll legislation, awards, Fair Work and WorkCover.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and general finance support.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll across multiple states.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, leave, terminations and payroll adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, awards, Fair Work and tax requirements.
• Prepare payroll tax and WorkCover returns.
• Respond to payroll queries and prepare payroll reports.
• Process supplier invoices, payment runs and reconciliations.
• Provide general finance and accounts support as required.
