Programmed in Melbourne seeks an experienced Part-Time Payroll Officer to join our client’s team. You will manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll across multiple states, maintain employee records, and support onboarding and offboarding processes.

Experience with Kronos and HRIS is highly desirable. The role also covers accounts payable and general finance duties, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience processing end-to-end payroll.
• Experience using Kronos and HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll, payroll legislation, awards, Fair Work and WorkCover.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and general finance support.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll across multiple states.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, leave, terminations and payroll adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, awards, Fair Work and tax requirements.
• Prepare payroll tax and WorkCover returns.
• Respond to payroll queries and prepare payroll reports.
• Process supplier invoices, payment runs and reconciliations.
• Provide general finance and accounts support as required.
