Laverty Pathology is seeking a part-time Pathology Collector in Dubbo to join a leading Australian health network. The role focuses on welcoming patients, collecting blood and other samples, and performing essential tests with care and accuracy.

A 6-week paid training program is provided by Healius and may be accelerated based on prior experience. You'll work Monday to Friday 11am-4pm, plus every second Saturday 8am-12 noon, and you must be within the local radius of the collection centre.

Qualifikationen

• Pathology collection experience is highly regarded.
• Background in healthcare, aged care or customer service is acceptable.
• Strong communication skills and rapport with patients.
• Ability to follow procedures and manage priorities.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Welcome patients and manage waiting areas with professionalism.
• Perform venipuncture and collect pathology specimens.
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as ECGs and blood pressure checks.
• Maintain accurate patient records and specimen registers.
• Prepare specimens for transport to laboratories.
• Take payments where required and assist patients.
• Maintain a safe, clean and compliant work environment.
