Laverty Pathology, part of Healius, invites applications for a Pathology Collector in Dubbo. This permanent part-time role (30 hours per week) involves collecting blood and other samples, ensuring patient comfort and accurate handling to support timely diagnosis.

You will join a supportive team, complete a 6-week training, and benefit from employee programs and discounts. WWCC and immunisation evidence required; prior pathology collection experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pathology collection is desirable but not essential
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is desirable but not essential
• A healthcare background or strong customer-facing experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other samples with care and accuracy
• Provide a welcoming, calm and professional experience for patients
• Prepare and package specimens for transport in line with procedures
• Maintain accurate records and follow required processes
• Support smooth daily operations across the collection site
