Job summary

Wellways Australia Limited is seeking a Lived Experience Peer Wellbeing Navigator in Queensland on a part-time basis (30.4 hours per week). The role focuses on leveraging personal lived experience to engage with individuals on their recovery journey and to empower them within a safe, inclusive environment.

You will provide peer support, navigation, and care planning, and you will work with clinical supports to enhance engagement.

Qualifications

• Lived experience of mental illness or distress and recovery.
• Ability to share personal experiences with consumers in a safe, supportive way.
• Commitment to engaging with diverse communities and groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide intentional peer support.
• Offer one-on-one service navigation and care planning.
• Facilitate group peer sessions.
• Support capacity building for individuals.
