Job summary

Wellways, in partnership with APMHA Healthcare and GV Health, is seeking an AOD Wellbeing Navigator Peer to provide peer support using lived experience to connect participants with services and community resources in Greater Shepparton, Strathbogie, and Moira. The role emphasises empathy, recovery, and mutual learning, with salary packaging and leave loading benefits.

Part-time, 8 days per fortnight, with parental leave cover through July 2027.

Qualifications

• Personal lived experience of substance use or addiction and recovery and/or engagement with AOD services

Responsibilities

• Provide intentional, strengths-based peer support
• Offer one-on-one support and care planning
• Facilitate group peer sessions to build connection and confidence
• Support engagement with clinical services
• Build strong relationships with local AOD and community services
