Job summary

Wellways is seeking a Lived/Living Experience Peer Wellbeing Navigator to support people affected by mental illness and recovery journeys. This is a part-time role offering flexible hours and a chance to work within the Medicare Mental Health Centre network.

The role emphasizes personal experience, safe sharing, and collaboration with clinicians to enable recovery, empowerment, and engagement with community supports.

Qualifications

• Personal Experience of mental distress and access to health services.
• Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health, AOD or tertiary qualification in social science OR 1+ year relevant peer worker experience.
• 101 points of identification.
• Right to work in Australia evidence.
• Driver's Licence.
• National Police Check.
• International Police Check (if required).
• Working with Children Check - Blue Card and NDIS Workers Screening Check.
• NDIS Workers Orientation Modules - online course.

Responsibilities
