Job summary

St Joseph's Primary School, Denman, is seeking a temporary part-time Learning Support Assistant for 10 hours per week across Monday and Thursday for the 2027 school year. The role supports teachers to foster academic and spiritual growth and assists students with disability within a Catholic education setting.

Qualifications include NSW WWCC, anaphylaxis training, and a Certificate III/IV in School Based Education Support or relevant school experience. Applications close 6 November 2026.

• Clear understanding of Catholic education and mission
• Experience with students with disability (K-12)
• Ability to work under teacher direction and with staff
• Ability to administer assessments and deliver interventions
• Ability to implement adjustments for individual students/groups
• Experience in enrolment and transitions
• Knowledge of Disability legislation and data collection
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and administrative skills

• Support teachers in school routines, classroom activities and student care
• Assist in assessments and interventions under the direction of a teacher
