Job summary

Learning Links is seeking a part-time IT Operations Lead to ensure smooth operation of our technology across multiple sites in Sydney, with travel between Alexandria, Peakhurst, Liverpool, Gledswood Hills, Bella Vista and Oatley. You will partner with the Head of Digital and IT and external providers on projects and improvements.

The role covers IT operations, support, project delivery, automation opportunities, and digital transformation initiatives, including AI.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in a similar IT operations or support role.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Genuine desire to learn and continuously improve.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advice to staff across the organisation.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and optimise cloud-based (IaaS & SaaS) systems.
• Manage IT incidents and service requests efficiently.
• Support hardware and device management across multiple sites.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
• Liaise with external IT Managed Service Providers.
• Manage the IT Asset Register.
• Contribute to and manage system and infrastructure projects.
• Support testing, rollout, and user training for new solutions.
• Identify opportunities for automation and improved processes.
• Play a role in digital transformation initiatives, including the use of AI.
• Build strong relationships with internal users.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Work collaboratively across teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
