Job summary

Tandem Partners is seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a 6-month contract, working 2-3 days per week from Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. This not-for-profit organisation values practical HR support and close collaboration with the business.

You will cover the full employee lifecycle with a focus on advisory, compliance and robust people processes, partnering with senior stakeholders to build credible, autonomous HR solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Advisor or broad HR generalist role.
• Experience in medical/healthcare/education/research environment is valued.
• Confident partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Understanding HR compliance, policies and processes.
• WHS exposure is advantageous.
• Experience using Employment Hero is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice across the full employee lifecycle
• Partner with senior stakeholders on day-to-day people matters
• Support lower-level employee relations matters
• Assist with HR policies, processes and compliance requirements
• Provide support across WHS and workplace compliance activities
• Manage employee documentation, onboarding, changes and offboarding
• Utilise Employment Hero to support day-to-day HR processes
