Job summary

Dexterous is seeking an HR/ER Advisor on a 12-month maternity leave contract. The role is 3 days per week with Wednesdays on site at client sites, and a split week between North Sydney and home. You will manage recruitment, employee relations, contracts and HR policy across a portfolio of clients.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR Advisor/Generalist experience, a relevant degree, and a valid driver’s licence. Flexibility and strong consulting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR Advisor or Generalist experience.
• Degree in HR, Business or related field or equivalent.
• Current driver’s licence with access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on employee relations, case management and investigations across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage recruitment from sourcing to offers and coach managers on performance, development, engagement and retention.
• Draft and review employment contracts, job descriptions and HR policies, and keep clients updated on employment law changes.
• Manage and improve client HRIS, using HR data to spot trends and propose practical improvements.
• Bring 3–5 years of HR experience and relevant degree; possess a valid driver’s licence.
