Job summary

Caloundra RSL Services Club is seeking a Functions Supervisor (Part-time) to oversee daily Functions & Events operations on-site at our Caloundra venue. You will lead the function floor, coordinate staff, and ensure service standards align with our community-focused club.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in a similar hospitality leadership position, RSA certification, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role with leadership experience.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
• Flexible roster availability, including nights and weekend shifts.
• Team player with demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and function events floor operations.
• Coordinate staff activities and ensure procedures are followed.
• Provide leadership and coaching to function service staff.
• Achieve high levels of customer service and manage customer relations.
• Lead and effectively communicate with a team of staff.
• Follow up on customer enquiries related to new function bookings and venue tours.
