Seek experience in orthopaedic medical administration. The role supports day-to-day operations, including reception, correspondence and scheduling for elective procedures.
Ideal candidates will have Medicare knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple bookings in a team-focused environment.
Part-Time/Full Time Experienced Medical Administrator
Our longstanding and well-established orthopaedic practice is expanding and we require an experienced Medical Administrator for a senior role with whom we can share our positive commitment to high end patient care. We're looking for a dedicated and hard-working multi-tasker who will become an integral part of our already remarkable team.
We expect the position to be part-time initially, but with time we anticipate the hours and responsibilities to increase for the right applicant.
You will be responsible for all aspects of supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice including reception, outgoing clinical and surgical correspondence and the efficient coordination and administration of elective orthopaedic surgical procedures. In this role, you will be working closely with orthopaedic surgeons, patients, hospitals, health funds and practice staff.
The role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, strong communication abilities and the capacity to manage multiple bookings and competing priorities.
Thorough on‑job training will be provided and above Award pay afforded to the right candidate, dependent upon previous experience and knowledge.
We offer a positive working environment with a focus on ensuring our team is well rewarded.
Applications to be received by 20 November 2026.
