Job summary

Active Physiotherapy Mackay is seeking a reliable front desk receptionist to greet patients, manage bookings, take payments and handle enquiries. You will be the first smile patients see and the calm voice on the phone, supporting our physiotherapists and admin team.

We offer weekday hours, Monday to Friday, with one set day per week and potential extra shifts. Training provided, and you can learn PracSuite even if you’re new to it.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception or customer service. Healthcare is a bonus, not a requirement.
• Reliable and punctual, you show up as promised.
• Available across our opening hours, including early starts and late finishes.
• Confident with technology and willing to learn new systems.
• Fits well in a small, supportive team and takes initiative.
• Residence near Mackay to attend shifts on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookings and greet patients.
• Take payments and process claims.
• Handle phone and email enquiries.
• Support clinicians through the day.
• Cover various shift times as needed.
