Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role and willingness to learn approvals
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisation and time management
• Confident communicator liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, councils and certifiers
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines with a proactive, collaborative approach
• Comfort with accounting and payroll systems, plus Excel

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of job costing and financial reporting, liaising with accountants
• Manage supplier and subcontractor invoicing and payments, including PO matching and approvals
• Oversee end-of-month reconciliations and stocktake processes
• Maintain subcontractor compliance records (public liability, WorkCover)
• Manage project information, tool/asset records to keep the business running smoothly
• Complete weekly payroll entry information for external accountants
• Assist with Building Approvals and training provided
