Qualifications

• Previous Demi Chef experience in hotel, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen.
• Relevant culinary qualifications.
• Experience in conference, events, banquets, and high-volume buffet breakfast highly desired.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• Passion for food, creativity, and guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
• Support Chef de Partie and kitchen team with daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
• Manage stock rotation and minimize food wastage.
• Contribute ideas to menu offerings and guest experiences.
