Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort & Sunshine Coast Convention Centre in Queensland is seeking a Full-Time Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will deliver high-quality dishes across Sola Restaurant & Bar and Banquets, supporting service across à la carte dining and large-scale events.

You will work closely with senior chefs, supervise junior staff, maintain strict food safety and presentation standards, and adapt to varied service needs.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong time management to support multiple service styles.
• Ability to maintain high standards across different kitchen sections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes across Sola Restaurant & Bar and Banquets.
• Work across à la carte, buffet and large-scale event service.
• Support mise-en-place and prep across kitchen sections.
• Collaborate with senior chefs to deliver consistent, high-quality food.
• Guide junior kitchen team members.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and kitchen presentation.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.
• Adapt to changing service requirements for restaurant and events.
