Job summary

Novotel Surfers Paradise in Queensland, Australia is seeking a Part-Time Demi Chef to join our kitchen brigade. You will assist with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes and support the Chef de Partie and broader team.

Qualifications

• Previous Demi Chef experience in hotel, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen.
• Relevant culinary qualifications.
• Experience in conference, events, banquets, and high-volume buffet breakfast highly desired.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• Passion for food, creativity, and guest experiences.
