RACV Limited’s Noosa Resort in Queensland invites energetic Demi Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will assist in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality dishes, and collaborating with colleagues to meet our guests’ expectations across buffet, bar service, and in-room dining.

Qualifications

• Commercial Cookery qualification recognised in Australia (essential).
• Demi Chef with experience in a 4–5 star hotel/resort (highly regarded).
• Strong cookery experience and knife skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen sections, service styles, mise en place, sauces and butchery.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Serve a consistent high-quality product.
• Maintain equipment, utensils and a clean, hygienic kitchen.
• Manage stock rotation to minimise wastage.
• Update knowledge of procedures and techniques across kitchen sections.
• Follow directions from senior chefs and work as a team.
