Job summary

Waverley Council is seeking a Customer Experience Officer to join the Customer Service team on a temporary part-time basis. The role focuses on delivering high-quality administrative support and acting as the first point of contact across face-to-face, call centre, and online channels.

Working 24 hours per week (3 days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 8:30 AM–5 PM) at Bondi Junction, you will be part of a values‑driven service with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a fast-paced customer-facing role including call centre, online and face to face.
• Strong commitment to delivering quality customer experience.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with conflict resolution abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven strong technology skills with ability to input/retrieve information across multiple systems.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks to timeframes.
• Payment transaction experience with high attention to detail.
• Desirable knowledge of planning and compliance applications and processes.
