Job summary

Dubbo Regional Council is seeking a Customer Experience Officer for a 4-month temporary contract to join the Customer Experience & Engagement Branch. You will connect with customers, resolve enquiries, and deliver practical solutions with empathy, contributing to the community of 55,000 residents and visitors.

You will work across channels, stay up-to-date with council services, and help elevate customer experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Office / Business Administration or relevant discipline.
• Experience delivering customer service in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and accurate data entry ability.
• High level organisational skills with ability to prioritise tasks with competing deadlines.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle tasks across Omni-Channels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the vital link between the organisation and customers, providing effective communication and support.
• Execute customer service tasks in line with procedures to optimise the Customer Experience Centre.
• Stay informed about Council services, products, and activities to provide accurate information.
• Understand and apply Council policies, procedures, and codes to maintain compliance.
• Identify and address customer dissatisfaction, escalating issues per protocols.
• Build strong customer relationships through multi-channel engagement.
