Job summary

Dubbo Regional Council is seeking a Customer Experience Officer for a 4-month temporary contract in Dubbo/Wellington. The role reports to the Customer Experience & Engagement Branch and offers an annual salary of AUD 70,498.00–81,930.00 plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Office / Business Administration or relevant discipline or above.
• Relevant experience in customer service delivery in a high-volume environment.
• Well-developed computer literacy and accurate data entry.
• High level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise deadlines.
• High level flexibility to handle tasks across Omni-Channels.

Responsibilities

• Be the vital link between our organisation and customers, ensuring effective communication and support.
• Execute customer service tasks per procedures to optimise the Customer Experience Centre.
• Stay current with services, products, and activities to provide accurate information.
• Understand policies and maintain compliance to uphold high standards.
• Address customer dissatisfaction, escalate issues using established protocols.
• Build strong relationships through multi-channel engagement.
