Job summary

Commonwealth Bank's Northpark Shopping Centre branch is hiring a Customer Banking Specialist on a part-time basis. The role involves in-branch service, helping customers with digital banking, and offering personal financial assistance.

You will work with the branch team and manager to deliver outstanding outcomes, refer more complex needs to specialists, and participate in community events and outreach. The predetermined roster is Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Build personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations
• Help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Address transactional needs in-branch to ensure customers leave satisfied
• Interview and process applications for personal loans and credit cards
• Proactively invite customers to a Financial Health Check with a specialist
• Adhere to bank processes, reconcile transactions and review customers’ financial positions
• Engage with customers by participating in community events and fundraising activities
• Support the safety and wellbeing of the team
• Capture customer feedback and drive service improvements
