Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Part-time Concierge to ensure complete guest satisfaction by greeting guests, handling luggage, and coordinating transport.

You will anticipate needs, offer tailored recommendations, and support the front office with ad-hoc duties while upholding the brand's service standards.

Applicants must have a driver's license, be able to lift up to 23 kg, and be flexible for shifts between 7am and 11pm, including nights and weekends, with Australian work rights.

Qualifications

• A full driver's license - Australian preferred.
• Ability to lift, pull and push large objects up to 23kg.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts between 7am and 11pm – night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
• A friendly smile, you'll be our guests first point of contact entering our hotel.
• Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
• Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories
• Full Australian Work rights

Responsibilities

• Kicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomes
• Assisting guests with luggage, organising transportation,valet parking and fulfilling a variety of other needs the guests may have
• Staying one step of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
• Completing other ad-hoc duties as requested to assist the front office team to fulfilling guest needs
