Job summary

Ozcare is hiring permanent part-time Care Assistants to support clients in North Lakes and the surrounding region. As a Care Assistant you will deliver personalised care, assist with daily living activities, and help clients maintain independence.

You should have a caring nature, willingness to go the extra mile, and be available mainly on weekdays with occasional weekend shifts. Vaccination proof, police clearance, First Aid/CPR, and a current Queensland driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability)
• Current Police Screening Certificate (valid within past 3 years)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Current Queensland driver's licence
• Proof of immunity or willingness to be vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella & Pertussis

Responsibilities

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team to look at every aspect of our clients' care
