Job summary

Ozcare is seeking Care Assistants for our Southport Aged Care Facility, De Paul Villa. You will support clients with personalised care plans, help them maintain independence, and assist with daily personal care and medications.

Ideal candidates bring a warm, caring nature, flexibility for shifts, and a positive attitude toward health and wellbeing. Training and EAP are provided as part of joining the Ozcare family.

Qualifications

• Vaccination against Influenza and at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
• National Police Check valid within last 3 years
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Good computer and mobile device skills

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to clients per personalised care plans
• Assist clients to develop skills for independence
• Attend to personal care needs including showering and dressing
• Assist with clients' medication requirements
• Work as part of the care team with a holistic approach
