Ozcare is hiring full-time Care Assistants to support clients at our aged care facility in Townsville. You will provide high-quality care per individual plans, help clients gain independence, assist with personal care, medications and holistic team-based care.

The role requires influenza and Covid-19 vaccination, a valid Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, First Aid/CPR, and solid computer/mobile skills. Join a supportive Ozcare team in a caring workplace.

Qualifications

• Be vaccinated against Influenza and at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
• Good computer and mobile device skills.

Responsabilités

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care
