Job summary

Ozcare’s Labrador facility in Queensland is seeking part-time Care Assistants to support our clients with personalised care plans and daily activities. You will work as part of a caring team, helping with mobility, personal care, and medication support while promoting independence and wellbeing.

The role emphasizes a warm, flexible attitude, with the training provided, and opportunities to grow within the Ozcare family.

Qualifications

• Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
• National Police Check (valid within last 3 years)
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care
