Job summary

Ozcare Chermside branch is seeking part-time Care Assistants to support clients in Brisbane North. You will provide the highest standard of care, help clients maintain independence, and work with a holistic team to meet individual care plans.

Requirements include a Police Screening Certificate, a valid Queensland driver’s licence, vehicle, First Aid & CPR, and vaccination proof. Weekend availability and strong computer/mobile skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Police Screening Certificate.
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care.
• Reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance.
• Current Queensland driver’s licence.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Availability between 7am and 5pm on weekdays and weekends.
• Proof of immunity or willingness to vaccinate against MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella and Pertussis.
• Good computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide the very best care and support to clients in line with personalised care plans.
• Assist clients to develop skills to encourage independence.
• Attend to personal care needs including showering and dressing.
• Assist clients with medication requirements.
• Work as part of the care team with a holistic approach to client care.
