Job summary

The City of Whittlesea is hiring two part-time Customer Service Officers to join our Corporate Customer Service Team. You will be the Council’s first point of contact across multiple locations, delivering professional, timely, and respectful service in a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates will have proven customer service experience in a similar setting. Roles operate on a fixed-term basis with no less than 24 hours per week and set shifts, providing flexibility and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service, contact centre operations, local government, or a similar customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline customer service over the phone, face to face, and via written communication across an omnichannel environment.
• Resolve enquiries at first contact where possible and support the diverse needs of the community.
• Act as the first point of contact for residents, businesses, visitors and community groups across Council locations.
