Job summary

Mounties Group is seeking a passionate Chef for a part-time role at Halekulani Bowling Club in Budgewoi, NSW. The role focuses on preparing and cooking a range of dining options while maintaining high standards and presenting wholesome meals for guests.

Key duties include managing food prep, ensuring presentation consistency, assisting with bistro and function meals, and monitoring stock levels. Flexibility to work various shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a kitchen.
• Hold a Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Food Handling certificate.
• Be self-disciplined and a team player.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dining options to high standards.
• Maintain presentation and consistency of meals.
• Service and prepare for bistro and function meals.
• Monitor stock levels and rotate stock.
• Ensure compliance with food handling practices and cleaning duties.
• Deliver high quality food to create memorable guest experiences.
