Job summary

Westpac in Sydney's St Mary's branch is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Officer to welcome customers and support their everyday banking needs. You will help with transactions, explain digital tools, and guide customers to the right specialists to improve their financial wellbeing.

You'll work 25 hours/week across Monday to Friday 10am–2pm, a role ideal for those who are energetic, customer-focused and eager to learn. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a client-facing role.
• Strong numerical skills for cash handling and transactions.
• Energetic and genuinely helpful personality.
• Resilient and capable of staying composed under pressure.
• Willingness to learn banking procedures and technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with banking transactions including cash deposits and withdrawals.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and end-of-day balancing.
• Educate customers on digital platforms such as online banking and the mobile app.
• Identify opportunities to improve customers' financial wellbeing through tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
