A1 Mechanical Servicing & Repairs in Cairns invites a reliable part-time Administration / Bookkeeper to join our workshop. You will manage admin tasks, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping, coordinating vehicle drop-offs and payments with a focus on accuracy and professional standards.

We seek detail-oriented, independent workers who value integrity and teamwork within a busy workshop environment. Flexible hours, Monday to Friday, with a supportive team and clear procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration and bookkeeping or accounts support.
• Proven organisational and record-keeping abilities.
• Proficiency with office software and basic accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day office administration and reception duties.
• Answer calls, respond to emails and assist customers.
• Schedule bookings and coordinate vehicle drop-offs and collections.
• Prepare invoices and process payments; follow up outstanding accounts.
• Enter supplier invoices and maintain financial records.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
• Prepare information for external accountant and maintain records.
• Maintain workshop documentation and confidentiality.
