Job summary

Holiday Inn Perth City Centre is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to oversee overnight operations, ensure guest safety, handle night audit, and support the Night Manager. The role requires comfort with numbers and leadership in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will process payments, manage check-ins/outs, respond to emergencies, and work with Reservations, Sales and Food & Beverage to uphold Holiday Inn standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a hotel Front Office role with exposure to Reception and Night Audit procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of Opera PMS for night audit and guest processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage guest experiences, team performance and hotel operations during overnight shifts.
• Be the first point of contact for critical emergencies in the absence of the Night Manager.
• Process payments including room charges, debit/credit, and cash in accordance with procedures.
• Complete check-ins and check-outs as per hotel standards and manage wake-up calls.
• Engage with guests to resolve issues and concerns.
• Run night audit process on PMS (Opera) or manual equivalents.
• Promote and enroll guests into the IHG One Rewards program.
• Collaborate with Reservations, Sales and Food & Beverage to uphold service standards.
• Prepare food and beverage for room service from the overnight menu.
